The THERMORY® DANCE COLLECTION of intensely heat-treated wood flooring products is produced from raw materials that are sustainable, renewable and harvested in the United States, using original perfected technology that has been in use in Europe for over 20 years. There are NO chemicals added in the process, only heat and steam, resulting in higher dimensional stability and lower equilibrium moisture content compared to conventional hardwood flooring. The THERMORY® DANCE COLLECTION is the only solid wood product acceptable for use over radiant heating and able to be glued to concrete. Its outstanding durability and considerably extended lifetime allows it to be refinished many more times than that of engineered flooring. These beautiful, environmentally friendly, rich, and luxurious wood floors feature an exotic look without the negatives associated with deforestation of the rain forests.

THERMORY® DANCE COLLECTION

The THERMORY® DANCE COLLECTION is manufactured using a chemical-free thermo-treatment process with only steam and heat in a special, computer-controlled, high-temperature kiln. Thermo-treated wood has a very long lifetime, higher dimensional stability and lower equilibrium moisture content compared to conventional hardwood flooring. Our Medium-treatment Salsa and Intense-treatment Tango programs have been refined over 15 years in cooperation with leading Finnish thermokiln producers.

Medium-treated Salsa Collection

Color varies from light to medium brown and is suitable for interiors where bright and golden colors are desired. Salsa solid wood flooring is sold unfinished, giving each customer the opportunity to choose between various oils, stains, and finishes. The Salsa collection comes in a sanded finish or can be brushed for an antiquing influence.

Intense-treated Salsa Collection

Color varies from medium to luxurious dark brown. Suitable for use in moisture prone areas or at-risk areas like, bathrooms, wet rooms and concrete applications, as well as high traffic areas like entry ways. Additionally, Tango has superior performance over radiant heated floors. The 3/4” x 7-1/2” product is the most stable plank flooring offered in the USA. Like Salsa, Tango is offered in both sanded and brushed finishes.

Only High-Grade Raw Materials

THERMORY® is processing about 850,000 board feet monthly of only the highest-grade raw material. Thermo-ash originates from well-maintained and responsibly-managed forests in the USA where good growing conditions and strict drying standards ensure the highest quality. Color and grade are sorted prior to export, manufacturing and importing to ensure that the Thermory® name is synonymous with excellence.

Continuous Innovation in Research & Development

Innovation and continuous product development are crucial to the THERMORY® DANCE COLLECTION. We are testing many different wood species to identify those most suitable for thermo-treatment. Rigorous radiant floor heat testing with time honored results of our products are essential prior to the release of a Thermory® flooring line, (1,100 hours and 180˚ F). We will soon be offering Hickory and upcoming species may include Wormy Maple, Red Oak, Cherry, Hard Maple and more. Product development is aimed at extending the selection of products which exceed the expectations of end-users with quality and lifetime of lasting beauty.
